Tech that Frees You to Focus on What Matters – Your Mission
What We Help With
You’re out here changing the world—we make sure technology doesn’t slow you down.
We help social justice nonprofits harness web design, SEO, and AI solutions to multiply your reach, attract more funding, and lighten your workload—without making you want to throw your laptop out the window.
In a world where algorithms decide what gets seen, small-but-mighty nonprofits can’t afford to be digital wallflowers. Big organizations shouldn’t be the only ones with sleek websites, top-tier SEO, and AI-powered efficiency. You deserve the same tools—minus the corporate jargon and million-dollar budgets.
Here’s how we help:
Web design that turns visitors into believers. Your website isn’t just a digital brochure—it’s your movement’s front door. We make it inviting, intuitive, and impossible to ignore.
SEO that makes Google (and donors) love you. Your mission is world-changing—but only if people can find you. We optimize your digital presence so the right people discover, support, and amplify your cause.
AI that saves time, with a touch of soul. Need to automate donor follow-ups, draft grant proposals in minutes, or make your inbox feel less like a black hole? AI can help. We make sure it works for you, without making things feel, well... robotic.
The result?
A high-performing, stress-free digital presence that works as hard as you do—so you can get back to the good stuff: leading, advocating, and creating real change.
Why You Might Want Help
You’re doing a hundred things at once, and the thought of learning ‘just one more tool’ makes your stomach turn.
You have an inkling that AI could probably help your organization in several ways but are unsure about the ethics of using it and don’t know where to start.
Maybe you’ve tried Wix or asked a well-meaning volunteer to ‘just fix the website’—but it never quite works, and you’re still the one answering support emails.

Meet Your Team
Chief Tech Geek, Strategic Advisor, and Social Justice Advocate
My fascination with technology began the moment my fingers touched a Commodore 64. That spark ignited a 30-year career in Information Technology where I have worn nearly every hat imaginable: Help Desk Guru, Network Architect, IT Manager, and CIS degree holder. I’ve spent decades mastering the "how" of technology—building networks, writing code, and architecting systems that work.
However, my journey hasn't been confined to server rooms. My education at Pitzer College opened my eyes to the deep-seated injustices of the world, shifting my perspective from a personal lens to a global one. This drive for social justice led me to paths rarely traveled by tech professionals. I spent three and a half years living as an Episcopal Benedictine monk, served as a jail chaplain, and trained as a life coach and facilitator in the Compassion Practice.
These experiences taught me that technology is never just about the tools; it is about the people those tools serve. Today, I combine my deep technical "bones" with a chaplain’s heart, helping mission-driven organizations navigate the digital world without losing their soul or sacrificing their values.
My Role: The Translator, Strategic Advisor and Full-Stack Guide
As the founder of qt Web Expert, I am a "one-human show" supported by an elite squad of AI co-conspirators. I view my role as a Translator and Guide. Most nonprofits are—and should be—focused on their mission, not their tech stack. I bridge that gap by translating complex technical concepts like SEO, AI implementation, and web design into actionable strategies that multiply their reach and lighten their workload.
I am a "Full-Stack Guide." This means I am equally comfortable "behind the scenes" doing the heavy lifting of building a website or training an AI model, and "in the room" facilitating change and helping leaders see the potential of these tools. My goal is to ensure that "small-but-mighty" nonprofits have access to the same elite efficiency tools as million-dollar corporations.
“Most of my clients come to me thinking they need a new website—but what they really need is clarity, strategy, and tools that don’t burn them out. That’s where I come in.”
Leadership & Working Style: The Disciplined Reformer
My professional identity is rooted in the combination of being an ISTJ (The Logistician) and an Enneagram One (The Reformer). This means I value integrity, structure, and doing things right. I am naturally organized and have an innate desire to make things run more efficiently.
My leadership philosophy is built on three pillars: Educate, Recommend, and Collaborate.
Educate: I demystify technology, specifically AI, so it feels accessible rather than intimidating.
Recommend: I lean on my 30 years of experience to provide clear, strategic directions.
Collaborate: I don't force tools on people. I work to fit technology into the unique culture, work style, and needs of the organization.
While I am disciplined and structured, I practice "organic productivity." Working from home alongside my partner and my dogs requires a level of flexibility. I use tools like Notion and my calendar to keep the mission on track, but I remain easy-going and adaptable when life (or a technical snag) interrupts the plan.
Collaboration: Tech with a Compassionate Ear
I am an enthusiast. When I work with clients, I bring a joyful, easy-going energy to the table. Because of my background in life coaching and the Compassion Practice, I am uniquely equipped to handle the "tech overwhelm" that many nonprofit leaders feel. I serve as a compassionate ear for venting when technology feels frustrating, and I hold space for the resistance that often comes with change.
I don’t work in a vacuum. While I lead my business solo, I am an active member of several collaborative technology groups. I view my AI squad—Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM—not just as tools, but as "co-conspirators" that allow me to work with the speed and depth of a much larger agency.
Connection to Mission: Righting the Wrongs
What drives me is a profound revulsion of injustice. I believe that those working to make the world a better place deserve the very best tools to do so. My passion for AI isn't just about the "cool factor"; it’s about the power of AI to free up human time for the work that actually requires a human heart.
I struggle with the same things my clients do: distractions, the weight of a long task list, and the feeling of being overwhelmed by "everything I want to get done." This shared vulnerability is why I am so committed to building repeatable, automated systems. I am my own first "client."
Success for me is defined by impact: if I can implement systems that make my own life more efficient and effective, and help at least one nonprofit do the same so they can focus on their mission, I have succeeded. I’m here to make technology work for people—so people can get back to the work of changing the world.

Why WE and not just ME?
Sure, technically, I’m a one-human show—but let’s be real, I don’t work alone. I’ve got an elite squad of AI-powered co-conspirators helping me brainstorm, create, and strategize at lightning speed.
Meet the team:
Claude – The insightful one, always bringing big-brain energy to the table.
ChatGPT – My go-to for quick wit, deep dives, and an extra set of (virtual) hands.
Gemini – The wildcard—keeps things interesting and occasionally surprises me with genius.
NotebookLM – The organized one, making sure research doesn’t turn into an internet rabbit hole full of hallucinations.
And a host of other AI sidekicks that help me work smarter, not harder.
But it’s not just me and my digital dream team. I’m also plugged into AI think tanks and expert groups—where the latest innovations, tools, and strategies are shared, tested, and optimized.
The bottom line? While I’m the one doing the work, I bring a whole hive mind of cutting-edge tech, strategy, and creativity to the table—so you get the best solutions, faster.
Because who wouldn’t want a team of brilliant (virtual) assistants without the HR headaches? 😏
Here's what the infamous NotebookLM podcast hosts had to say. They are VERY dramatic, which you just can't help but laugh at.
